Special Notes

Directions from Houston: Hwy 290 past Brenham to Spur 125. Take this thru Burton to CR 1697. Left 4 miles to CR 6 (Sandtown Road). Left 3 miles to Young Lane. Right and straight ahead (becomes Young Circle (pvt)) 0.9 miles to Acres Alegres. Left here to the next gate on right, The Front Porch. Distance from Houston: 85 miles. Directions from Giddings: Hwy 290 to 180 (left) 180 to CR 131 (rt) to Young lane. Left on Young Lane straight ahead to Young Circle. Left at Acres Alegres. Front Porch entrance is on right, the next gate. House is on the back of the property.

Directions From Round Top Square (13 miles)

Take CR 237 to 290, right on 290 to Nixon Lake Road (it is the second left and not far from 237), left on Nixon Lake Rd....this deadends into Sandtown. Left on Sandtown to Young Lane. Take Young Circle (PVT) and continue to Acres Alegres.Right here to the first entrance, The Front Porch. You will be on gravel road for 0.9 miles.
