The 1852 Texas Historical House is truly an exceptional example of the finest in Texas 1850's contruction with its natural materials and attention to detail. We have taken the liberty to enhance the finest of the old with the finest of the new---feather pillows and feather mattresses, comforters and egyptian cotten sheets and linens. We had added satelite TV hidden in a wardrobe so that you can watch your favorite programs and still feel the ambiance of this old house. The views are truly exceptional as you gaze at the valley below.
Because this was a private home prior to being a Bed and Breakfast, this house is unlike most available for rental. The furnishing are exceptional and the accessories are unique. Every detail was considered to enhance your stay with us and to provide for your comfort. There are (3) fireplaces that at one time function for comfort but now add to the ambiance. Due to the historical nature of the home, the innkeeper hopes you will enjoy the ambiance and utilize the modern conveniences provided for your comfort. The kitchen has all you need to whip up a quick breakfast or indulge your culinary skills.
The master bedroom upstairs opens its double doors to a second floor balcony that offers beautiful views of the 1828 Moore's Fort across the street and Village Green. From the hardwood floors, to the flat German glass windows, to the cedar trunk log ceiling to the period furnishings, nothing has been overlooked to provide for your comfort.
